RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council (1) consider a recommendation from the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission endorsing the Lindberg Park Picnic Area Rehabilitation Project that received the majority community vote; and (2)
approve the submission of a Parks and Water Bond Act of 2018 (Proposition 68) Per Capita grant application in the amount of $202,505 for the Lindberg Park Stone House HVAC Upgrade and Picnic Area Rehabilitation Project.


BACKGROUND

On April 26, 2021, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2021-R035, authorizing staff to submit applications for Parks and Water Bond Act of 2018 (Proposition 68) Per Capita funding. At that time, staff reported that the City of Culver City was allocated $177,952 in Type 1 Per Capita Funds and $24,553 in Type 2 Per Capita Funds for a total allocation of $202,505.
