RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission (1) schedule a PRCS Commission tour of Culver City parks and facilities; and, (2) schedule two community meetings for the Lindberg Park Stone House / Park Rehabilitation Project.


BACKGROUND

Upon the request of the PRCS Commission, PRCS Department staff members accompany the Commissioners on a tour of Culver City parks and facilities ("Parks Tour"). On behalf of the Commission, staff sends invitations to the Parks Tour to members of the public, City Council members, the City Manager and Culver City School District representatives. During a typical Parks Tour, staff engages in a dialogue with tour participants, takes them to sites of recent and upcoming capital improvement projects and provides information regarding a variety of issues relating to Culver City parks, facilities, programs and services.
