RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council approve (1) an Exchange Agreement and Assignment of Federal Surface Transportation Program Local Funds between Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority ("LACMTA") and the City of Culver City ("City"); and (2) an Agreement to Transfer Funds Acquired by the City from LACMTA to the County Engineers Association of California (CEAC).


BACKGROUND

The League of Cities, the California State Association of Counties ("CSAC"), the County Engineers Association of California ("CEAC"), the Regional Transportation Planning Agencies ("RTPAs") and the Rural Counties Task Force have teamed together since 2008 to form the Local Streets and Roads Needs Assessment Oversight Committee ("Committee"). The Committee is responsible for, among other things, oversight of the production of the biennial Local Streets & Roads Needs Assessment Report ("Report").
