BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

 

The Public Works Department Mobility and Traffic Engineering (M&TE) Division is currently working on the design of the following two projects that propose comprehensive accessibility, pedestrian, transit, bicycle, and other improvements:

 

                     Better Overland Project (previously referred to as the Overland Bicycle & Pedestrian Improvements Project)

                     Safer Fox Hills Project (previous referred to as the Fox Hills Neighborhood Traffic Management Plan and Bikeways Project)

 

Staff will provide an update on both Projects, including preliminary conceptual designs, the results of parking & traffic studies, and upcoming community engagement events where the public can provide feedback on the project design.

 

Committee members will have an opportunity to ask questions, make comments, and discuss.
