RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Finance Advisory Committee (FAC) dissolve the current FAC Anniversary Ad Hoc Subcommittee.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The FAC Anniversary Ad Hoc Subcommittee was established with the goal of organizing an event commemorating the 10-year anniversary of the FAC’s first meeting (May 8, 2013) and to highlight the FAC’s accomplishments since its formation.
The ad hoc subcommittee’s members included Griffing, Jacobsen, and Menthe.
The logistics of the proposed event proved challenging and were made more difficult with the resignation of two of three ad hoc committee members from the FAC.
On December 11, 2023, the City Council presented the FAC with a commendation in honor of its 10-year anniversary. The ad hoc subcommittee may thus be dissolved.
