RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission observe the administration of the Oath of Office to newly appointed PRCS Commission Member Crystal Alexander.

 

 

BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION

 

ADMINISTRATION OF THE OATH OF OFFICE

 

 

On June 26, 2023, the City Council appointed Crystal Alexander to PRCS Commission Seat Number 2 for a full-term expiring June 30, 2027.  To begin her term, the PRCS Commission Secretary will administer the Constitutional and Loyalty Oaths to the newly appointed Commissioner, both parties will sign duplicate originals of the document, and Commissioner Alexander will retain one of the signed documents.
