RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends that the Finance Advisory Committee (FAC) (1) receive a report from the Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee, (2) approve the list of nominees chosen by the ad hoc subcommittee to receive the second annual Innovation Awards, and (3) provide direction to staff if deemed appropriate.

 

 

BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION

 

The Government Efficiency Ad Hoc Subcommittee was established to research, implement, and continue a City Innovation Award Program to encourage employees and/or departments to contribute towards increased efficiency, improved quality of life for Culver City residents, reduced costs and/or generated revenue, or to demonstrate distinguished performance based on department goals/outcome measures
