BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION
The 2023 Finance Advisory Committee (FAC) Work Plan states that the FAC will “review revenue and financing opportunities to fund needed infrastructure issues in the City, such as housing and parks”.
On April 12, 2023, the FAC formed the Affordable Housing Ad Hoc Subcommittee with the objective of organizing a speaker series on affordable housing economics. The goal of the series is to help inform, educate, and engage the public, staff, and CBC members on the topic.
On May 10, 2023, the FAC welcomes guest panelist Kathe Head of Keyser Marston Associates to join the discussion and speaker series planning.
