RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council adopt an ordinance amending Chapter 9.02, Sections 005-070 of Title 9 of the Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC) and adopt by reference the 2022 California Fire Code (CFC) with local amendments.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At its meeting of November 14, 2022, the City Council by a unanimous vote (4-0) introduced an ordinance amending CCMC Chapter 9.02, Sections 005-070 (“Fire Code Adoption and Amendments”) and adopting by reference the 2022 CFC with local amendments. Accordingly, staff presents the Ordinance this evening for adoption, as introduced.

There is no direct fiscal impact related to the adoption of this ordinance.
