BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) is presenting this event in worldwide observation of the Transgender Day of Remembrance. Since 1999, the Transgender Day of Remembrance has been observed throughout the world to commemorate the killing of transgender and non-binary people and to tell their stories.
This year’s event will take place virtually, via web conference, and in-person in the Patacchia Room at City Hall. This event will feature student speakers, presentations, performances, and more.
