RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends the Equity & Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC): 1) consider adopting a statement supporting the Jewish community and condemning recent anti-Semitic attacks; and 2) provide direction to staff as deemed appropriate.

 

 

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

 

At the October 25, 2022 Regular Meeting, the committee achieved consensus to agendize the consideration of adopting a statement supporting the Jewish community in light of the recent anti-Semitic attacks. This item is before the committee for review and discussion. Staff will work with the committee to adopt a final statement at a future meeting.
