BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
During the January 25, 2022 regular meeting, Vice Chair Valverde achieved consensus to agendize this item for the February 22, 2022 meeting. This Ad Hoc Subcommittee worked with staff to develop and disseminate a community survey in English and Spanish at Fiesta La Ballona in October 2021 and electronically on the City’s website. The community survey was designed for the EHRAC to better understand how to improve serving the community and to share information regarding the functions and roles of City departments, available services, and how to access such services. The Ad Hoc subcommittee reviewed the ten (10) results received and would like to bring the results to the entire EHRAC for review.
The Listen and Learn Ad Hoc Subcommittee is comprised of Vice Chair Valverde and Committee member Samia Bano. The Ad Hoc Subcommittee is requesting approval to add an additional committee member during the February 22, 2022 regular meeting, to further discuss the results received, and to determine next steps.
