BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

At the January 20, 2022 meeting, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee voted to form a temporary ad-hoc subcommittee to focus on development of bylaws for the Committee and development of a bi-annual committee report to the City Council.  Bylaws governing the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee have been requested by the City Clerk and once completed will be presented to the City Council for adoption. Chair Michelle Weiner, Vice-Chair Art Nomura, and Member Robyn Tennesap were assigned to the sub-committee, which has begun meeting with staff to develop these documents.

Chair Michelle Weiner from the sub-committee will provide a progress update on the status of the bylaws and present topics for discussion by the full Committee.
