BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

As in prior years, each of the City's Commissions, Boards, and Committees have an opportunity to provide input related to the City's budget and work plans for the upcoming fiscal year. The deadline for the FY 2023 (07/01/2022 - 06/30/2023) work plans is March 24, 2022 before the City Manager presents his proposed budget to the City Council on Monday, May 9, 2022. The City Council is scheduled to receive individual department presentations on the current year's work plan updates and proposed FY 2023 work plans on March 7 - 8, 2022 and on next year's proposed budget on May 16 - 17, 2022. The FY 2023 budget is scheduled for adoption on June 27, 2022. The final draft of work plans will be included in the FY 2023 City Budget Book. Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee members are welcome to attend any of these City Council meetings.
