RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (1) discuss the report from the Childhood and Equity Movie Screening Ad Hoc Subcommittee for the event program; (2) consider approval of the report's recommendations and determine next steps; and (3) provide direction to staff if deemed appropriate
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
During fiscal year 2021/2022, the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee voted to hold various public community events as part of their work plan. One of these public events includes the Childhood and Equity Movie Screening event that is tentatively being held either on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 7:00pm or Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 7:00pm. During the October 26, 2022 regular meeting, the Committee achieved consensus to agendize an action item to discuss the Childhood and Equity Movie Screening event program and details.
