RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Civil Service Commission (Commission) provide (1) a general status update of their review of the administrative record in connection with the Remand from the Los Angeles County Superior Court regarding a personnel matter and (2) schedule deliberation date(s).
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At the December 1, 2021 Commission regular meeting, the Commissioner agreed to provide an update regarding their review of the administrative record in connection with the Remand from the Los Angeles County Superior Court regarding a personnel matter. Additionally, the Commission requested by January 3, 2022 the parties to provide written findings to serve as a guide for the deliberations on the matter. Since then, the Commissioners have been reviewing the record and are at various stages in that process.
The Commission will need to schedule closed session deliberation date(s) for this matter. The Commissioners have been asked to bring their calendars to assist in scheduling dates in January or February to conduct the deliberations.
