RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC): (1) receive report from the Civil Discourse Workshop Ad Hoc Subcommittee on the proposed plan for the Civil Discourse Workshop event; (2) discuss and consider approval of the recommendations in the report and determine next steps; and (3) provide direction to staff if deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
During the fiscal year of 2021/2022, the EHRAC voted to hold various community events as part of their work plan. The Civil Discourse Workshop is one event the Committee approved. At the August 24, 2021 the EHRAC built consensus to agendize an action item to receive and discuss the Civil Discourse Workshop Ad Hoc Subcommittee's event program and details of the event, at the October 26, 2021 regular meeting.
