BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Staff from the Public Works Department’s Engineering and Mobility and Traffic Engineering Divisions will present information about the Department’s process for reviewing development projects and the approval/entitlement process.
The presentation will include typical conditions of approval for public provision and/or improvement of bicycle and pedestrian facilities, as well as current measures taken to eliminate/minimize impacts of project construction on traffic movements, particularly pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
Staff will also provide an update on the scheduling of the Higuera Bridge Reconstruction Project, including the upcoming demolition of the Bridge and temporary closure of the Ballona Creek Bike Path.
