BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

 

Staff from the Community Development and Public Works Department will share information on upcoming open street and other events planned to take place in the Downtown area and the Arts District in late 2021 and early 2022.

 

The Subcommittee recently requested agendizing this item for discussion and recommendations, and noted the desire to revitalize the city center in coordination with the Move Culver City Project and other planned public improvements. Such event efforts are also intended to mitigate and recover from some of the social and economic impacts of the pandemic.
