RECOMMENDATION
That the Planning Commission review and adopt a Resolution adopting the revised Standard Conditions of Approval for discretionary land use permits.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
On February 23, 2011, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 2011-P002 approving the Comprehensive Standard Conditions of Approval (COA) for discretionary land use permits.
To simplify and condense the existing COAs, staff reviewed and identified several conditions that are no longer necessary to be included. Since the adoption of the current COAs, many conditions have been codified and are now required by the Culver City Municipal Code. In addition, over the years since the adoption of the COAs, City departments have revised or added to the original conditions to better reflect the intent of those specific conditions.
On June 9, 2021, Current Planning staff reviewed the draft revised COAs with the Planning Commission, and made clarifying edits as deemed necessary by the Commission.
Staff is providing, for adoption, proposed changes to the COAs to include Exhibit A - Standard Conditions of Approval, and Exhibit B - Standard Code Requirements. Both Exhibit A and Exhibit B will serve as the default COAs to be attached along with all future discretionary land use permits.
