RECOMMEDATION
Staff recommends the Planning Commission (1) select one of its Members as Chair and one of its Members as Vice-Chair; and (2) appoint Members to the Board of Zoning Adjustment Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Planning Commission Bylaws establish the first regular meeting after July 1, to select the Commission Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson, and make committee appointments.
The list of officers and committees are listed below. The current Chairperson conducts the election of the new Chairperson. The new Chairperson then conducts the election of the Vice-Chairperson and committee appointments.
For reference, Attachment No. 1 lists current Planning Commission officers and committees, basic committee meeting information, and the past year's appointees. Attachment No. 2 provides a brief description of each committee.
