RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends that the Equity & Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) discuss and share comments on the Juneteenth Celebration held on June 19, 2021; and (2) provide direction to staff if deemed appropriate.

 

 

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

 

On June 19, 2021, the EHRAC held a virtual event in celebration of Juneteenth. The EHRAC members requested this item on the agenda to discuss the event, its impact and community participation.
