RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity & Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC) receive the presentation on Cesar Chavez by Vice Chair Valverde and Member Grimes; (2) discuss and share comments to the presentation; and (3) provide direction to staff if deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At the February 23, 2021 meeting, the EHRAC members created and appointed Vice Chair Valverde and Member Grimes to the Cesar Chavez Ad hoc subcommittee to conduct a presentation in honor of Cesar Chavez and the work he did to create the United Farm Workers.
