RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Equity & Human Relations Advisory Committee (EHRAC): (1) discuss changing the regular meeting from the 4th Tuesday of the month to another day; (2) discuss changing the name of the Committee; (3) make any recommended changes to City Council; and (4) provide direction to staff if deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
This item is carried forward from the last regular meeting of December 1, 2020. This item is to discuss potential changes to the EHRAC meeting date from the fourth Tuesday of the month to another day, based in part on the fact that the City's Committee on Homelessness also meets on the same evening. A desire has been expressed that the members of these two Committees may wish to attend each other's meetings.
Based on the days of the month when the City Council and other City Commissions, Boards and Committees hold their regular monthly meetings, the potential meeting dates are the second or third Tuesday of the month.
