RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Finance Advisory Committee continue discussion of the regular meeting schedule of the Finance Advisory Committee for the Calendar Year 2021.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Culver City Finance Advisory Committee (FAC) Bylaws state that “The Committee shall meet on a monthly basis. The Committee shall meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm, or at another time and place agreed upon by the Committee, which will facilitate the attendance and input of the public.”
During the December meeting of the FAC, discussion ensued regarding the possibility of changing the regular meeting date. To explore the possibility, the Committee requested a poll to be issued among the members regarding an alternative meeting schedule.
The Committee will continue discussion regarding the meeting calendar, reviewing results from the polling in effort to determine if a recommendation will be made to change the FAC Meeting schedule, and in turn, the necessary steps to amend the Committee Bylaws.
