BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

Staff presented the Move Culver City Project and its first pilot - the Downtown Tactical Mobility Lanes (the Project) at the October 27, 2020 Mobility, Traffic, and Parking Subcommittee (Subcommittee) meeting and returned to the Subcommittee meeting on November 19 to review and discuss the design concepts and implementation costs. At the November 19 Subcommittee meeting, the Subcommittee directed Staff to move forward with the recommended mobility lane design concept and Circulator service.  Staff and the consultant team is developing the final design documents and executing other subsequent steps to implement the mobility lanes and the Circulator service.

At the December Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee meeting, Staff will provide an update on the Project progress/activities and present the design concepts.
