RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council adopt an ordinance repealing and replacing Chapter 9.02, Sections 005-075 of Title 9 of the Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC) and adopt by reference the 2019 California Fire Code (CFC) with local amendments.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At its meeting of October 14, 2019, the City Council (by a vote of 5-0) introduced, for first reading, an ordinance repealing and replacing CCMC Chapter 9.02, Sections 005-075 (“Fire Code Adoption and Amendments”) and adopting by reference the 2019 CFC with local amendments. Accordingly, staff presents the Ordinance this evening for adoption, as introduced.

There is no direct fiscal impact related to the adoption of this ordinance.
