RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission select dates for the November 2018 and January 2019 PRCS Commission Special Meetings.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At the August 7, 2018 meeting, the PRCS Commission reviewed the Fiscal Year 2018/2019 Meeting Calendar. PRCS Commission meetings are regularly scheduled on the first Tuesday of the month, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers at City Hall. The following Regular Meeting dates were approved by the Commission:
* September 4, 2018
* October 2, 2018
- At 4:00 PM, a Special Meeting for the second Tour of Culver City Parks and Facilities; and,
- At 7:00 PM, a Regular Meeting in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers at City Hall
* December 4, 2018
* February 5, 2019
* March 5, 2019
* April 2, 2019
* May 7, 2019
* June 4, 2019
The following Regular Meetings were cancelled:
* November 6, 2018 (Election Day)
* January 1, 2019 (New Year's Day)
Since the Regular Meetings were cancelled, the Commission requested that staff provide some alternate dates for the November 2018 and January 2019 PRCS Commission Special Meetings. Some suggested dates, venues and times are:
