RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Commission receive and file the report regarding the Second Annual Screenland 5K.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Registration is now open for the Second Annual Screenland 5K which takes place in downtown Culver City. The event will be held on the morning of the Academy Awards, Sunday, March 4, 2018. The City of Culver City is one of the co-sponsors of this event. Gavin Mc Kiernan, a member of the Screenland 5K Committee, will make a presentation regarding the Screenland 5K at this evening’s meeting. The Second Annual Screenland 5K promotional flyer is provided as Attachment 1. A slide show with photos of last year’s event and a copy of the route map is provided as Attachment 2. The Race Day schedule below was taken from the Screenland 5K website at <http://www.screenland5k.com>.
