RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Cultural Affairs Commission (CAC) select a Chair and Vice Chair for Fiscal Year 2017-2018.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
At its first regular meeting in July of each year, the Cultural Affairs Commission selects a Chair and Vice Chair. In addition to duties associated with the CAC, pursuant to the By Laws of the Culver City Cultural Affairs Foundation (CAF), the current Chair and Vice Chair of the Cultural Affairs Commission shall serve as voting members of the CAF Board.
PROCEDURE:
Absent a Chair, the current Vice Chair of the Cultural Affairs Commission conducts the election of the new Chair. The new Chair then conducts the election of the new Vice Chair.
FISCAL ANALYSIS:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the proposed actions.
