RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution (1) approving the Engineer's Report for the Higuera Street Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District - Fiscal Year 2017/2018; (2) declaring its Intention to Order the Levy of Annual Assessments for Fiscal Year 2017/2018; and (3) setting a Public Hearing for June 26, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Higuera Street landscaping and lighting improvements were installed in 1995 at the request of the property owners. The Assessment District was formed, and the boundary includes properties on both sides of Higuera Street between Lindblade Avenue and Hayden Avenue.
Pursuant to a Resolution adopted by the City Council on Monday, May 8, 2017, the Public Works Director/City Engineer has prepared the Engineer's Report for Higuera Street Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District and filed said Report with the City Clerk. A copy of the Engineer's Report is attached to this report for consideration by the City Council.
