RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council (1) after conducting a public hearing, introduce an Ordinance (Attachment No. 1) approving Zoning Code Amendment P-2016-0149-ZCA, Amending Zoning Code Section 17.320.020 - Number of Parking Spaces Required, Table 3-3B - Proposed amendments related to restaurant parking; and (2) discuss the proposed designation of certain commercial districts as Commercial Revitalization Areas to allow modified parking requirements in order to promote economic development and commercial property improvement, and provide direction related thereto.
