RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends that the Cultural Affairs Commission (CAC) observe the administration of the Oath of Office to appointed/re-appointed commission member(s).

 

 

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

 

On June 8, 2016, the City Council appointed Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin to Seat No. 3 which had been held by Regina Klein.  Ms. Klein served one term on the CAC and had decided not to apply for reappointment.  Thomas Small who held Seat No. 5 on the CAC, was elected to the City Council in April, leaving his seat available.  The City Council appointed Zoltan Pali to Seat No. 5 where he will serve a partial term of two years.

The Secretary shall administer the Oath of Office to the Appointed/Re-Appointed Commission Member(s) after which the new Commissioner shall take a seat on the dais.
