RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council (1) consider providing direct financial assistance in the amount of $24,000 and Fire, Police and Public Works in-kind staff support to the 50th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Show (2016 Event) produced by the Exchange Club of Culver City (Exchange Club); (2) consider designating the 2016 Event as a City-sponsored event; (3) approval of a related memorandum of understanding (MOU); and (4) consider the Exchange Club's request to appropriate $30,000 in the City's Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Budget toward the 2017 4th of July event.
