BACKGROUND: Under provisions of the Charter of the City of Culver City a Regular General Municipal Election shall be held on the 8th day of April 2008 for the election of three (3) Members of the City Council of said City for the full term of four (4) years. The City Council will consider taking an action at the Council Meeting of December 3 2007 to place a measure relating to modernization of the City s existing utility users tax ordinance on the ballot for the 2008 General Municipal Election.
