RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution approving the revised salary schedule for City Employees effective retroactive to July 1, 2023.


BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION

During the June 12, 2023 City Council meeting, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2023 - 2024 Budget for the City of Culver City, the Successor Agency to the Culver City Redevelopment Agency, the Culver City Housing Authority, and the Culver City Parking Authority. The City Council also adopted a resolution approving salary schedules for Miscellaneous employees, Police Safety employees and Fire Safety employees, effective July 1, 2023.

A revised salary schedule for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 is being brought forth to City Council to reflect the most current updates that concluded from the recent negotiation process between the City of Culver City and the Culver City Management Group (CCMG) and between the City of Culver City and the Culver City Employees Association (CCEA). The City reached tentative agreements with CCMG and CCEA; therefore CCMG and CCEA members will be receiving a seven percent (7%) across the board salary increase effective the first full pay period after July 1, 2023.
