Kane (10/30/09) Executive Director Approval: Mark Scott (11/19/09) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Redevelopment Agency Board (Board) consider appointing up to two members to the Advisory Committee on Redevelopment (ACOR). BACKGROUND: ACOR is comprised of nine members each serving four year terms. The terms are staggered so in odd years either four or five vacancies occur. This year four positions became vacant on June 30 2009. On September 21 2009 and on October 5 2009 the Board appointed a total of two persons to serve on ACOR. Pursuant to Agency direction on September 21 2009 staff advertised to fill the remaining two vacancies on ACOR. One quarter page size advertisements were published in the Culver City News on October 1 8 and 15 2009. A notice was also placed on the City s homepage beginning September 29 2009 and individuals who had previously expressed interest in serving on ACOR were contacted by telephone.
