Nachbar (06/02/15) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council (1) invite the public to comment and provide input on the City Manager s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 and (2) direct the City Manager as deemed appropriate. BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION: The City is committed to being open and transparent in all fiscal matters. In order to continue this commitment the public is being provided this additional opportunity to comment and offer input on the City Manager s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2015/2016. The City Council and staff look forward to hearing all suggestions and comments from the public this evening. The City Manager s Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 was formally presented to the City Council during the City Council s regular meeting on Monday May 11 2015. Prior to this the City Council reviewed Departmental Work Programs with each City Department on March 9 and March 10 2015.
