BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION: On May 14 2012 the City Council awarded a contract to Pavement Coatings Co. for application of rubberized slurry seal on selected residential streets. Slurry seal is a mixture of fine aggregates and emulsified asphalt which is spread in a thin layer over existing asphalt pavements to prevent streets from deteriorating.
