BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION: On September 24 2012 the City Council awarded a contract to Icon West Inc. for the Transfer Station Wall Repair Project. Structural repair and strengthening was needed on two precast exterior wall panels which had been dislocated. The Culver City Transfer Station located at 9275 West Jefferson Boulevard was originally constructed in 1984. Since that time it has been under continuous heavy use.
