RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council consider adoption of a Resolution requesting a state audit of alleged sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying and retaliation at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD).

BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION

On April 19, 2021, the City Council gave direction to bring forward a Resolution requesting a state audit of alleged sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying and retaliation at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Attached). If a resolution is ultimately adopted, staff would transmit a copy of the Resolution to the Assembly Joint Legislative Audit Committee, and Culver City’s State and County elected representatives.

FISCAL ANALYSIS

Discussion and direction regarding this matter does not create a fiscal impact to the City.
