BACKGROUND: Along Washington Boulevard between National Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue there are 72 palm tree surrounds containing 4 light fixtures each that provide decorative lighting to the palm trees. These tree surrounds were part of a 1990 s streetscape beautification project that was managed by the former Culver City Redevelopment Agency (CCRA).
