RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends the City Council approve a license agreement with the Downtown Business Association (DBA) to use the City-owned Venice Parking Lot located at 9415-25 Venice Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles (Venice Parking Lot) for valet parking during evenings and weekends at a rate of $750 per month with a term ending June 30, 2017 with a one year extension option (to June 30, 2018) subject to the approval of the City Manager.


BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

The City owns the Venice Parking Lot, which is used primarily for monthly parking during daytime business hours and has approximately 30 spaces. The spaces are not currently utilized during evenings and weekends.
