RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council consider the display of historic photos of former
Councilmembers in the Council Chambers and direct staff as deemed appropriate.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
As part of the recent “rediscovery” and inventorying of historic assets by both the
City and the Culver City Historical Society, a number of photographs of former
Trustees and Councilmembers were uncovered. It has been suggested that hanging
these photos in the City Council Chambers would add additional “history” to the
Chambers and allow display of these historical assets.
FISCAL ANALYSIS:
The minor costs of implementing this proposal would be absorbed in current
appropriations.
