BACKGROUND: Public Works Department staff has been in discussion with CCUSD staff to address the large numbers of students crossing on Elenda Street in front of Culver City High School. Garfield Avenue and Franklin Avenue intersections on Elenda Street do not have any crosswalks or stop signs. DISCUSSION: As a result of the discussions staff has developed a plan to install a yield controlled pedestrian crosswalk on Elenda Street at Garfield Avenue.
