RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that City Council (1) approve a general services agreement with G.T. Michelli Co. LLC for Culver City Transfer Station Axle Scale System Replacement in an amount not-to-exceed $310,000; (2) approve a three-year professional services agreement with G.T. Michelli Co. LLC for Transfer Station Scale Calibration, Maintenance and On-Call Repair for $120,000 annually; and (3) authorize the City Manager to approve two additional one-year terms in an amount not-to-exceed $120,000 annually.


BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The City owns and operates a 500 ton per day solid waste and recycling Transfer Station Facility located at 9255 Jefferson Boulevard operating six (6) days a week. The tipping floor is operational between the hours of 4:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday.
