RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Fiesta La Ballona Committee (FLBC) receive and file the Fiesta La Ballona Beer and Wine Garden 2022 Income and Expense Report.
BACKGROUND
Fiesta La Ballona took place from August 26, 2022- August 28, 2022. The Beer and Wine Garden was run by The Exchange Club of Culver City.
DISCUSSION
The Fiesta La Ballona Beer and Wine Garden 2022 Income and Expense Report is provided as Attachment 1. The total revenue for the Beer and Wine Garden in 2022 was $35,153.00 and the total expense was $16,341.89. This made the total profit $18,811.11.
This year, the proceeds from the Beer and Wine Garden went to the following pre-approved organizations:
• Sandy Segal Youth Health Center
• YMCA Kids Scholarships
• Scholarships for Culver City High School graduating seniors
The Exchange Club reported that, “The Board of the Exchange Club voted unanimously to round up each contribution to these worthy causes to $10,000 each.”
