BACKGROUND: With the arrival of the Exposition Light Rail in Culver City (at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and National Boulevard) expected in late 2011 or early 2012 the City Council and Agency Board has had general discussions related to how best to utilize the new Culver City light rail station as an focal point for economic development in the area around Washington/National and the City as a whole.
