Fulwood (03/19/08) RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council approve an amendment to the existing agreement with Utility Systems Science and Software (US3) to provide for a one year extension of maintenance services for the Sewer Emergency Notification System (ENS) at a cost not to exceed $75 625. BACKGROUND: On January 8 2007 the City Council approved an amendment to the agreement with Utility Systems Science and Software (US3) in the amount of $232 767 for maintenance of the sewer Emergency Notification System (ENS). This agreement with US3 expires this month. In order to complete the work under the amendment approved by the City Council and to continue maintenance of the system a one year extension to the US3 agreement is requested.
