(Crosstown) for maintenance of the traffic flow monitoring system in an amount not to exceed $25 000. A four fifths vote is required to amend the budget. BACKGROUND: In October 2006 the City Council accepted the completion of the Traffic Flow Monitoring Project P 804 that included the installation of 11 new closed circuit television cameras (CCTV) at various major intersections. This project added to the existing 5 CCTV camera system for a total of 16 CCTV cameras. This required the upgrade of existing equipment new fiber optic and copper cable new cabinets in the public right of way and supporting data communications equipment.
